  Very traditional restaurant. Spanish and Cuban inspired food. This is a family restaurant on it's 4th generation. The food is very good and I definitely recommend. Doesn't have a 5 star due the service... It could be much better to keep up with the good food.

  We love Cuban food, and there's nothing wrong with the food here... Tapas were nice. We had scallops, mushrooms, and skewers, all nicely cooked.
  The service was unimpressive, to put it kindly. It wasn't super busy when we were there, but the waiter acted offended when we asked to move, since we were directly in the path of the waiters heading from the patio to the kitchen and bar.
  He moved us, and then left us waiting for at least 15 minutes, before his assistant took our order. Then we waited another 25 minutes for tapas to get to the table.
  Which was odd, since the assistant told us the tapas would be super quick to fire... so we can only think the waiter held our order for awhile.
  Everyone else was very nice and courteous, just not the actual waiter.

  very slow, poor service
  
  We've been to this Columbia restaurant a few years in a row and it's always one event we look forward to. Last night this placed seemed like a completely different restaurant.
  
  The place was very busy, but it always is and we haven't had a problem in the past. We were seated about the time of our reservation. The initial visit by our server seemed a little long, but then he came with water and took a drink order. The drink order took a long time to come and he took our dinner order.
  
  We waited, and we waited - maybe an hour. No server to be found anywhere. We scanned the restaurant and very few servers to be found anywhere. Perhaps they were hiding and waiting for the kitchen. When our server finally comes back, he stops in a rush and said our food would be right out. It wasn't. It took nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive. No water refill, no questions, no apologies about the slowness of the kitchen.
  
  We had 5 in our party and only 1 person in our party enjoyed their meal. One was cold, one had clams that did not open (5 or so total, all did not open), mine was a signature dish "Marilyn and Joe" - the tenderloin tips were chewy, and the shrimp and pork were cold.
  
  The manager finally came over to apologize at the end of the meal with no offer of compensation, discount, or even a dessert on the house. We probably wouldn't have taken the dessert - we didn't have another hour or more to wait.
  
  All in all one of more disappointing meals and experiences I've had in a long time. I'm hoping this was just a one-off, but I fear the place is taking a turn in the wrong direction. We have other friends coming in today and we WERE going to treat them to dinner here, but I just can't do it again.
  
  Maybe next year when we return for our annual trip we'll give it one more try.

  After a few times here, the food can be great or not so much. Today my husband and I came prior to dinner hours and our service was quite poor. There was no offer to refresh our drinks or another glass of wine. We were able to get service
